Back to Scotland and the beach at Achiltibuie this June on a grey day.

 

These timber boats have been left to rot on the beach.

Scotland - Abandoned and Derelict Boats

The harbour at Old Dornie, just north of Achiltibue.

 

A small number of boats, possibly old fishing boats were pulled out of the water and were decaying.

 

I know next to nothing about boats, but I suspect that this upturned hull needs a little more than a few replacement strips of timber before it is seaworthy again.
