The Collie watched intently all the time the man fished, but sadly for both of them, no fish was caught.

London Limehouse Dock - Coot and Shadow in Pea Soup
Early morning in Limehouse Dock in East London in early October..
This coot swimming in the green surface algae in this dock gave an interesting shadow.

NW Scotland - Wild Flowers & Plants
A selections of flowers and plants found within 30 yards from my chalet near Ullapool this June
My knowledge of plants is poor, so I am not going to be too precise in naming them. I just love the delicacy of these miniature flowers (is it a lichen?)
A beautiful orchid coming into bloom and one recently opened.
