Spring is not too far away

The weather continues to be unseasonably cold. However Spring will soon be on us.  A few photos taken in previous years as a reminder of what is to come.

London Underground - Speed abstract

A photograph taken recently on the moving pavement at Waterloo underground station.

 

I had been trying to create an impression of speed by using the zoom on a slow shutter speed.  Apart from cropping and adding a little contract, no photoshop has been used.  Whether it gives the impression of speed, I don't know, but I was pleased with the abstract feel of the end result.
