Ivinghoe Beacon - Kite Flying Silhouettes

Walking the dog around Ivinghoe Beacon the other day, I came across a scout group enjoying flying their kites from the top of the beacon, making interesting silhouettes against the dappled sky.

I believe that these posts are what remains of largely ineffective old coast 1950's protection against erosion....

....but together with the steel sheet piles, they make nice Silhouettes

Misty November Morning, Old Linslade
