Signs of Spring - Nuthatch Nestbuilding with Mud
A Nuthatch was spotted in a garden in
Bedfordshire
at the entrance of a hole in a tree.
It flew to the tree with a beak full of mud. In this photo it had used most of this trip's mud making the hole's entrance smaller a little at a time.
A last few adjustments before........
.......checking the hole out for size.
Thank you Emily for showing me your special little bird.
